The minimap is a small view of the current place where you character is. The minimap shows your current location and the objects in the map.

In the minimap you can easily search for nearby NPC's, Objects and places which you can visit.

This is the minimap of one of the first areas you will visist. Be aware that this is still in beta and that it can change.
